Right Now

Primary Source Analysis...Ladies' Home Journal, 1955, looking at advertising and what it can tell us about women's roles in American society. That's what I'm working on right now for the next 1.5 hours before work. How about you?

That sounds very interesting. It was certainly an interesting time in history for women. There are times when I'd like to go back to those days, but other times when I curse them.

That actually sounds very interesting. Some of those fifties ads are sooooo funny! and I don't think it takes rocket science to know what it is saying about the role of women.
